I hate the notion that good grades are an absolute test for intelligence, a “fact” which has been so ingrained into me since childhood. While of course they can be some kind of indicator, the two are not mutually inclusive. I know so many people who are incredibly smart but don’t make high grades and vice versa.
I guess as I’ve grown older I’ve just come to dislike our education system more and more. This tweet is incredibly relevant:
